In keeping with our mission to “seek to promote an interest in gardening and to beautify the landscape of our community” the Lombard Garden Club is again recognizing individual homeowners who have added to the beauty of our village by making their front yards especially attractive.
Eligible submissions are front yard gardens on
properties with Lombard addresses. We look for especially attractive use of plants. Our
ongoing selection recognizes that gardens change throughout the growing season. Up to twenty
gardens will be chosen each month for this honor.
A club representative will notify owners if their property is selected and offer them the
opportunity to have a recognition sign placed in their yard. The signs will remain on
display for one month.
In addition, the selected front yards may be featured on our website, Facebook pages, and in other local media.
